After graduating from the University of Virginia, he returned to Baltimore to attend the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Michael Siuta was born and raised in Baltimore County. As a teaching faculty member at Sinai Hospital and Harbor Hospital, he received the Golden Apple “Best Teacher of Year” Awards twice, in 19.ĭr. He held the ranks of Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine and was an instructor in Medicine, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is a former Chairman of the Division of Gastroenterology and Director of Endoscopy at Harbor Hospital of Baltimore (July 1998-July 2004). Le, MD has been elected as Chairperson of the 2012-2014 National Task Force on Hepatitis B: Focus on Asian and Pacific Islander Americans. Le is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. Le is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He did his Gastroenterology fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia where he received extensive training in therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopy and hepatology.ĭr. Le completed his internship and residency at the Sinai Hospital/Johns Hopkins Hospital Internal Medicine residency program. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York. Le graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in Mathematics and Biology.
